Noises

This weeks scary story is called "Noises." The narrator starts off talking about his life and his job and  how he's never been happier.  Recently, though, he's started to become more aware of the little noises people make.  Whether it's a little cough, or a sniff, he starts hearing them more and more often.  It starts to make him angry. All he can focus on are the noises. One after another, they don't stop.  If one person sniffs, another one sniffs right after them.  He gets more and more upset with each sound that goes by.  The situation escalates as the narrator begins to believe his coworkers are taunting him with the noises.  He becomes enraged with the noises, they're all he thinks about.  He'd do anything to make them stop. The narrator becomes so angry with the noises, until he finally realizes the solution to his problem.  He know knows exactly what to do to stop the noises. Forever.

Why they're called Sixes

I've got another story recommendation this week.  It's called "Why they're called Sixes."  This ones also another horror story.  This ones a bit different as the point of view is the narrator acting as if he's talking to someone else.  I think that factor adds to the overall creepiness of the story as it feels like the narrators telling you real events that happened. The story is so full of emotion because of this, and really adds to this story about a boy whose life is full of ghosts and creatures called "Sixes."

911 Operator

This week I've got another scary story.  It's called "I'm a 911 operator."  The whole story is written like a 911 call, which adds to the creepiness.  It starts with a man calling 911 about a strange man walking in circles in his front yard.  From there the story escalates and gets even creepier and terrifying.  I would definitely recommend this to those who like a good scary story.
